phone number for Olympic Air

Hi,
Olympic Airlines made a change in my flight from Santorni back to Athens.
The problem is they put us on the last flight out at night and our flight back to the US leaves Athens early the next morning.
I have tried to email them several times, asking to be changed to the flight that leaves late afternoon instead. I have not heard back.
The phone numbers given on their website and also the 800 call directory dont' seem to be correct.
Does anyone know of a phone number to call from the US?
Thanks.

Try this one:

1-800-223-1226

If you ever need to call them from Greece it's:

801 11 444 444

What time of day have you been calling? They might work only during business hours. But still, you would think they should have a recording advising you of their schedule.

If I come across another number I'll post back.

If nothing else works, go straight to the top. Olympic Air is now owned by http://www.marfininvestmentgroup.com/. I don't know if an email to MIG would do any good, but it can't hurt!

Bettina, when you say that's the one u have been trying, yo mean the top one??? How about if you call the operator and ask them to check the line; I believe the phone companies are still obliged (unwillingly) to do that.

I just Googled OA and got eh following:

OA OFFICES
City: New York Office: Airport Counters
Address: Terminal 1
Phone1: (718) 751-2650
Phone2: (718) 751-2678/9
Fax: (718) 751-2671

City: New York Office: Corporate Office
Address: 70-00 Austin Street
Forest Hills NY 11375
Phone 1: (800) 223-1226 Toll free
Phone 2: (718) 269-2200
Fax: (718) 269-2215
Email: [email protected]

But you will note that it says Olympic Airlines on the e-mail so that won't work -- but the phones at the Airport Terminals MUST be the same, no matter who owns it now. Good Luck!!

Thank you Travelerjan.
Yes, I tried the top one..........the 800 number and the one that was on their website.
But you've given me a lot more to try and I appreciate it!

It doesn't speak well of Olympic Airlines that they make it so hard for a customer to reach them. It's bad enough to wait on hold forever but Bettina's experience is ridiculous. They really need to improve their customer service.

Bettina, please let us know how it goes and which (if any) phone number works.

You all are referring to 'Olympic Airlines', but that company hasn't existed since last October. The new company, 'Olympic Air' doesn't fly to New York anymore, so does it really have a ticket counter at Terminal 1? Be sure you aren't trying to call numbers that are no longer valid.

Hi Bettina,

I believe the contact numbers brotherleelove gave you are Greek, so you will have to dial 011 30 210 35 50 500. The 011 is the international access code, and 30 the country code for Greece.

Be prepared for a large bill for the call, or send an email to [email protected]

I just sent an email to customer service.
When you say "large bill" for the call, any idea how much?

If you do telephone, remember that Greek time is 7 hours ahead of EST. It may be best to call during Greek business hours.

We cross-posted. I have no idea what the cost will be - I'm American, but live in the UK. Check with your long distance provider for cost per minute for a call to Greece, and hope Olympic doesn't put you on hold, leaving you to listen to some very expensive bouzouki music.;-)

Bettina,
We call Greece often and use an MCI card that is good for USA and most foreign countries to do so. I have only purchased the $20 value, and I am unsure if you can buy a smaller denominaton. They are handy at super markets, convenient, and the larger chain drug stores and can be found at the service desk or check out. These do not expire and last us quite a long time. I would guess it would cost less than 45 cents a minute to phone Greece. Great also to use to call hotels directly for information.
