Cellular Phone- Vopium

I am traveling from the US to New Zealand and Australia in a week. I have an iphone and will be turning on the international service to use the phone only for emergencies and texting. It is expensive. I just read on Apple about a service called vopium (www.vopium.com) Sounds too good to be true. Does anyone know anything about this company/service? Thanks, I leave in a week.

Sorry never heard of it so can't help you with it. Have you checked into Skype? I have Skype on my iphone and all my people at home do also. All I have to do is find a wifi zone and I can call home for free. If I want to make calls to non-Skype folks, it is still much cheaper than the regular international call. Skype is an app on your iphone also.
Have a great trip.

SKhan, Now that's a reply I can appreciate! Can you take an iphone from the USA and use it in Peru to make calls back to the USA?

Peru is not in supported countries list but however you can create your vopium account in US and you can use it with Wifi in Peru and call back to US any time.
