Parking fee at the Embassy Suites Niagara Falls Hotel

Hi guys - need some tips.
We are planning of staying at the Embassy Suites Niagara Falls Hotel and have found that they charge for parking. We would like to know how much exactly will it be for 1 night.
Any other information would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

Also, if you want in and out priviledges it is $30.00 per day. Don't think you need it if you are only staying one night.

We are staying next door at the Marriott Fallsview and plan on parking two doors down at the Fallsview Casino. I believe it is $5 a day or free if you gamble (I think you have to gamble $20 on their card). We did that last year and got free parking. Great deal.

Thanks for your advice!

Will consider that. Actually we have already booked the RADISSON HOTEL as we had found a special offer, but we are thinking of goiong around by People Mover (is that right?) so your suggestion seems still effective.
So, if we gamble on Day 1 and leave our car in the parking and then depart on Day 2, will the cost be $10?
That would be really great!

The parking rules at the Casino ramp have changed... so beware... too many people have abused the free parking so they tightened up... before, just getting a players card at the desk gave you free parking... now you must show continued play in the casino... you can't just leave your car there overnight and go to your hotel... just a heads up!

gary, what do you mean you can't leave your car overnight? or do you mean you can't just leave it there and not gamble? please clarify this, thanks. (I need to make sure overnight parking is okay for non hotel guests, how would they know if you are a guest or not.)

Sakura27 - We gambled $20 on slots last time on the card and got free parking. I know their rate is a lot cheaper than the Marriott's though, even if you don't gamble. I thought it was $5. I believe the Marriott is $20 a day.

amelie... I can see your need for clarification... originally just signing up for the players card got you free parking... people would drive in... get the card, and then leave... thousands of cars for free and no gambling....

Now... you must get the card and play the slots to activate the parking... even table gamblers according to their website... however, once you show some loyalty in play, you qualify for free parking on all visits...

I figured it out... my "free parking" comes to about $20 per hour when I figure in my losses!!! Hope that's more clear...

Thanks gary, that is definitely what I was looking for.

Yeah free is relative I guess. We don't mind because my husband gets to gamble a little bit and I am happy that it at least equals parking. It's something we would have done anyway, w/o the parking.

I have the info! We parked at the Fallsview Casino last night. The sign said $5. There is no ticket upon entry, so you could park there all week for that price. Husband gambled on video poker for about 1 hour 15 minutes. He put $20 in and only lost $1.75 total. This morning the sign was changed to $10 parking. When we left, we put in the players advantage card and parking was free.

Again, it is SO worth it. The walk was not far from the Marriott at all, and the Embassy is even closer.

I LOVED the view from our room!

In Toronto now and starting a trip report...

Thanx a lot for your detailed explanation, amelie!!

Was the parking fee totally free?! That's soo great! Until I read your post, I'd thought it's just as half as the hotel one (for one night, as for us).

Aww was the view nice?! What floor did you stay on?
I'm looking forwward to see your trip report!!
(ps - didn't you play in the Casino?)

It was totally free!

Are you asing if *I* played? No, I rarely gamble. I watched my husband play. But like I said he only put $20 in and played for just over an hour. Even if the parking was $5-$10, still worth it (compared to the Marriott's $20).

The view was amazing. I have my Niagara Falls portion of the pictures up at www.flickr.com/tammimarie
I am putting the Toronto ones up tonight. But you can see the pics of the view on there. It was the 8th floor. We are so spoiled now, we are always going to want to stay in a hotel with a view...(we used to stay at a B&B for cheaper).
