Dates ships will be in port?

Back when I was researching for our Alaska cruise, I ran across a website that told what ships would be in ports on any day. By knowing how many other ships would be there, it helped estimate the crowds and our planning.

I can't find that site. Anyone know where it is? I have Googled many combinations but have not come up with the right one yet.

Specifically, I'm wonder what cruise ships will be in Dubrovnik July 31-Aug 5.

Thanks,
Sandy (in Denton)

There was one called cruisecal.com which used to be free. However now it requires a payment.

Thanks . . . I took a look. The Expedia one will take a while, as I have to look at each ship individually. The Alaska one is only for Alaska . . . unfortunately. That one is really easy and is exactly what I am looking for, but I need it for Dubrovnik, Croatia.

Thanks for looking for me,
Sandy (in Denton)

I know the website you are referring to I believe it was called porttime.com - something like that but I know they were going to discontinue it. I used it when we were planning our Med cruise last September. I know when I saw the number of ships that were going to be in Dubrovnik the day we were going to be there I was quite concerned. The tour guide we had booked for the tour there said not to worry about it. He was right - we had a great tour and went to areas where we didn't meet anyone even from our ship.

Hi Jacketwatch, I recognize your name from CruiseCritic.com

I was just sent an email regarding your respone.

I would like to point out that CruiseCal offers a monthly fee of $3.00, during that month you can accomplish quite a bit of research on many future cruise plans.

I purchased a medium latte today in the SFO Bay Area for $3.20 this morning.

and to Giovanna...Grazie for mentioning our little website, it's been a labor of love and it is undergoing more updates in our cruise corner section...in addition the blog will be up and running within the next week!

and for those who haven't visited..there is no advertising, we are not a commercial website and we don't track you..It's our travel journal

Well, since my last post I have done quite a few updates on our website.

Including adding more to the port schedule list

We now have a total of 9 resources for you

8 are FREE
1 is $3.00

This is also a great resource when planning your land vacation and trying to avoid cruise ships!

and that's why we have 9 free (we added one more yesterday), because most people would pick a latte including myself...but I like to give as many options as possible!
