SENA and SITA buses in Siena: where do they drop off/pick up?
Because of the train strike, we are taking a 4:10 PM SENA bus from Assisi to Siena May 18, and then a 6:50 PM SITA Bus from Siena to Florence.
Since I'm having some trouble navigation through all the Italian, does anyone know where that SITA bus might pick up in Siena?
I see several station stops listed for Siena with the SENA bus, and I just want to be sure to get off at the same one/near one where the SITA bus will pick us up.

In my experience, most SENA and SITA buses end up at Piazza Gramsci, near the football stadium.
The Sena Bus from Rome did have a couple of other stops on the way- just outside of Siena, and again at the station.

You can view the schedules online and see the location of the stops.
SENA Bus (http://www.sena.it/ENG) stops in Siena at Via Peruzzi & at the train station.
The SITA Bus (not in english, but http://www.sitabus.it/sita-toscana/Firenze-Siena07.pdf) stops in Siena at Via Tozzi.
How far are these from each other? I don't know, sorry. Maybe someone else can shine some light on this.

I'm so confused, on one hand, when I click the "timetable link," I see a SENA bus from assisi to siena at 16:10 in the 18th. When I go to the page that has all the fares listed with the big Euro signs and click the Assisi-Siena link, it says there is a bus that leaves on the 18th at 17:00!!! Which is it?!?!
(see here)http://sena.busweb.it/privati/ricerc....asp?TipoRic=A
Also, the 1700 one names Piazza Gramsci, the 16:10 one lists several Siena stops but not that one. I'm so confused as to which bus to take.

Hi R,
I would take the 17:00 to Pzza Gramsci, IF there is a SITA bus to Florence after that time.
SITA bus schedules are at http://tinyurl.com/ybe6xk

Hey Ira! A few weeks ago I found SITA buses from Siena to Florence at 18:50 and 20: 15, so I should be okay...unless you see something different, for some reason my computer is giving me problems now with accessing the SITA site.
