Help, planning a last minute trip to Asia!
Just recently decided that my brother and myself would travel to Asia. We will be travelling to Japan, Thailand, singapore and Malaysia. We will be travelling through these 4 countries during may 24th-June 9th.
Just want to know if people have any advice as to what exactly we should see, ie. specific cities or areas of major interest. japan is covered as i have a friend who lives th

I'd actually cut it to one destination...or maybe two, but definitely not 4. With only 2 weeks, going to 4 places at at least 1/2 travel time each (including hotel check out/go to airport/check in early for flight/wait/fly/transfer to next hotel and check in) you would lose at least 2 full days of your time...15%.
Many flights from the US to Asia have a stop in Tokyo, so if you wanted to you could logically layover there. Then it's another 6 - 7 hours flight to Bangkok, Singapore and KL. 4 countries in 2 weeks will end up being a blur of airports I'm afraid. In one country in two weeks, it's not really very practical to try to go to more than 3 places.
With your limited time, the most logical thing to do would be to either take a non-stop to Bangkok on Thai Air, or to go straight through Tokyo and connect right away to your next destination...most flights from the US get to Tokyo in the late afternoon and connect to evening flights to elsewhere in Asia. You would get to your destination on Day 2 either way, so May 25.
A few days in not enough for any of the places you list, except maybe Singapore...and we had planned 3 days in Singapore for this summer until we actually researched it and found there was a lot there that interested us and extended it to a week.
I recommend figuring out which single country you want to visit and choose 3 places in that country. Then if you must, keep Japan in at the beginning or end or your trip as a stopover. Or, you could do Singapore and Malaysia. But not all 4. You wouldn't do any of them justice.
