Best Places To Travel In May...

Can anyone let me know the best places to travel during May-June or a site that has information on this? We are looking to travel to a tropical place.

Thank You!

Maui....all the way!!! My friends and I go every year! Sometimes with the husbands, sometimes without. It's absolutely beautiful there. If you take the road to Hana (very nerve wracking at times, but well worth it), you will see about 4 different types of terrain. You can find a lot of info on the web just by serching for Maui. Wailea is more expensive, Kehei to the north of that is the least expensive, then farther north is Lahaina and Ka'anapali, which are expensive, but not as expensive as Wailea. We prefer Kehei because it's right in the middle. Great shopping, great beaches, great snorkeling!

Definitely want warm weather in a place that has good food and some kind of nightlife. Somewhere between cheap and spendy.

Thanks!

Charleston, South Carolina.
Definitely the perfect weather, great dining and sights.
Can be adjusted to meet just about any budget, as pricey or economical as you'd like it to be.
Do a search here for excellent info
on all things Charleston.

Charleston is a great place during that time of year. You may want to keep in mind that Spoleto will take place May 26 - June 11...hotel rooms will be at a premium then so if you do decide to come here...book early.

May is the beginning of the off season in the Caribbean. We used to take a cruise, now we stay on an island. Tried the Turks and Caicos last May---one of the nicest beaches we have been to---probably won't return though. Enjoyed the Abacos--if you are a boater, you will love it. We love St. John though and will return there---one of our most romantic vacations---private villa, pool, hot tub--beautiful views.

I cruised out of Houston harbor last May to the "Western Caribbean" area - Cozumel, Cancun, Belize, etc. Weather was so amazing - warm winds. It was a 7-day cruise which we booked in February. 2 people totaled under $1,000
