Train from Copenhagen to Malmo

Is it possible to pay for train fare from Copenhagen to Malmo with a credit card? I don't really want to get Danish money when my destination is Sweden.

Yes, you can use credit cards to purchase train tickets in Copenhagen. I ended up not going to Malmo, but I bought other tickets with Mastercard.

A detail I just remembered --- if you do not alreay have a PIN code for your credit card, get one before you go to Denmark because many retail terminals require you to enter your number as you would at an ATM.

Usually you can pay with credit card but some countries have a minimum amount to take one. Don't know about Denmark but it costs about $25 Cope-Malmo over the new bridge tunnel over the sound, affording spectacular views for miles around. You should be able to use card but if not use your ATM card to get enough euros and you won't lose much - determine amount you'll need first.

I didn't need a PIN for the train station credit card transactions in Copenhagen.
