No, I don't think so. There are about a bezillion people waiting outside to take you over to the Hotel Zone.
I prefer to wait and just go on outside and get a van.
They are big and have A/C and enough room to stretch out and for the ridiculous amounts of luggage I drag with me.

I've used Green Line on several occasions from the airport to downtown Cancun. It's an air-conditioned van, takes several people at a time, stopping at several hotels in the zone along the way. Charge is $9 per person. They're inside the airport as you exit. However, they don't do returns to the airport, at least from downtown.

I would wait until arrival. Many options available--and the price is pretty much the same.

We took the collectivo (I think that's the same as the Green Line because the cost was about the same) to our hotel and that was fine and much cheaper than a taxi to the hotel zone. However, I think next time, we'll walk across the street where the bus stop is (can't miss it, to the left when you come out of the airport - it's where the people who work at the airport are getting on and off) and take the bus to the hotel zone. It's cheaper and, for us, made our experience more interesting because we got to travel like the locals do. We took the bus from the hotel zone to the airport and had no problems. We also took the bus around town and local people always asked us where we were going and assured us that we were going the right way. It worked out great.
