Chocolate in Frankfurt?????

I am in Frankfurt on business and would like to bring home some (very good) chocolate to my girlfriend. I really dont care about price (hey she is worth it), but I do want the best I can get. Address and directions to the store would be great. I am staying at the Manhattan Hotel across from the train station!

Best bet - buy it at the duty free shop at the Frankfurt airport on the way home. Good prices and variety.

ask the hotel and they will direct you to a good shop...i would not rely on the airport....i just got ripped off on a purchase at frankfurt duty free....my own fault but never the less it was not a bargain....

Frankfurt is not know for its chocolate, so I would definitely buy it at the duty free shop and ask about the best you can buy there (sorry, but haven't been in that airport for years).

Personally I like the brands of Lindt and Feodora.

Both are widely available in stores (although Feodora might be a bit harder to find, even though they are wrapped in bright yellow), especially big department stores like Karstadt, Hertie or Kaufhof should carry them.

They are a bit more expensive than others, but very tasty.

Germany does not make the best chocolate... beer, yes; chocolate, no. Buy Belgian chocolates... Neuhas is my favorite... out of this world. Come to think of it... Belgians make the best beer too!!!

You can't get Swiss or Belgium chocolate in Frankfurt? You've probably never been to the Kaufhof department store in Frankfurt - a mind boggling variety of chocolate and candy. And if you want Belgium chocolate, just take a trip to the nearest mall in the U.S. and pick up some Godiva.

There were stacks of Feodora chocolate at the Frankfurt airport the last time I flew out. Reasonably priced as well.
