are st vincent and the grenadines in the hurricane belt? how prevalent are hurricanes in these islands?

They are generally below the hurricane belt .

Here is the link to the National Hurricane Centre's Tropical Prediction Center.
With a bit of digging, you can get the hurricane track maps for all hurricanes since 1921.

It's a bit of digging to get the exact answer you wish, but all the raw information is there.

grenadines do get hit by hurricanes. it happened in 1980, 1987, 1998, 1999.
