Message: Dont overlook the Stanley & Livingstone lodge in Vic Falls. I is 1 year old so has not had the press yet but we stayed there for 2 nights while on honeymoon and it is a magnificent, intimate lodge (thatched roofs) with colonial atmosphere with beautiful gardens yet in the middle of the bush. 5 minutes from Vic Falls. The rooms are huge and you can ask for elephants to come up and pick you up for elephant walk.

Can you tell me if you saw much wild life around this lodge. We are going 1 March and they said the brush is too thick to do walks but we can still do by vehicle. Also the Elephant Safari for $90pp??? What else do you reccommend and how was the food!!!

We stayed here for 3 nights the end of Feb 04. We were the only guests!! Its very nice, good service (but don't order Gin & Tonic..they charged $US 14.00!!!) There were not many tourists that we could see around Victoria Falls. They have had alot of rain, so the animals were more hidden. We will go back to Bostwana or Zim but a different time of the year. The people there were great!!
