Need Family Reunion Site for 60-75 People

Looking for a place in June or July of 2009 for large group that families want to stay under one roof so need individual houses. We did this a few years ago at Pine Mountain Lake in CA and rented homes for one week....looking for similar situation again. Anyone know of that kind of availability in Kansas (or anywhere centrally located in the U.S.)?

You might look into Big Cedar Lodge. I've never stayed there but have friends who rave about it. They have a wide variety of accommodation options.

I think Katie started a thread about locations. You may want to do a search on it.

The YMCA camp in Estes Park CO does this. Another idea whould be to renting condos near ski resorts. Colorado if fabulous in the summer (much better than Kansas IMO)

Hello from Kansas, I have to say that many people over look my states beauty and I think that this location would work really well for a family deal for a week.

Fall River is a really nice place to spend some time and would work well for a family, if you have any questions let me know.

If you want something centrally located the first thing that comes to my mind is Lake of the Ozarks, MO.

Wow, what a gang of people! We just came back from our family of ten together in Playa del Carmen. BTW, we rented a villa with many rooms and along the riviera you could find many places for a reunion.

We have stayed with our family group at Big Cedar Lodge several years ago and it went fine. We've also been to YMCA Camp at Estes Park for a family conference and that is good also. I'm sure you can do some searching and find other ideas like as mentioned at Lake of the Ozarks.

Question might be how to manage this "gang." In our case one person was in charge of schedule (ideas about what to do), another made arrangements for villa rental, and another car rentals, also food and meals needs agreement including eating out...Big Cedar has a nice dining room. We go along fine realizing that various ages groups had different interests. Question is how much are the teens and kids willing to relax with adults! Big Cedar is secluded compared to Estes Park where you have access to hiking, horseback riding, shopping in town, etc. But at BC we had loads of fun playing bingo with silly prizes.
