Malta - Hotel Galaxy - Sliema

Has anyone stayed at the Hotel Galaxy or know anything about it? I have been doing a web search for accomodation and travel from the UK to Malta and UK Online Holiday came up with a good rate and this hotel. I would like to know more about the hotel before booking. Thank you.

With regards to the Galaxy, I stayed there for a week in July and I chose it because I was in a bit of a rush and didn't know anybody who had been to Malta and would be in a position to recommend anything else. I also thought that the apartment rooms would be good since I tend to tire of eating out day after day.
The Galaxy staff were really nice and very helpful, but I think that other places looked like better choices. The apartment room that we stayed in needed a real refreshing. The complex is huge and plays host to many teenage language groups. If you are getting a really good rate in comparison to other hotels, maybe, but I would honestly hesitate to recommend it considering the number of other options in Sliema.

I went to their website and became a member and got a good rate. At least I thought it was good for a five star hotel.
