Chitwan is not the best park in Nepal to see animals. In fact we've been disappointed at the negative feedback from other travellers regarding Nepal's National Parks and so far we haven't bothered going! If you must go to Chitwan & cannot get over to Royal Bardia, which is more difficult to get to but acknowledged as the best park to actually see most of Nepal's native animals, then check out www.chitwanjunglelodge.com-friends say they are a good outfit.

We just returned from a 10 day trip to Nepal with our little boy. We stayed Hyatt KTM, Fish Tail Lodge in Pokhara, Temple Tiger in Royal Chitwan National Park; Dwarikas back in KTM. We used a local travel agent who was significantly cheaper than anyone else I could find. And he was GOOD. He is Nakul [email protected]
We encountered no problems you would not expect in an, ahem, 'developing' country. But we flew to Pokhara and drove to chitwan then drove to KTM. The drive Chitwan to KTM was hideous. Best advice - fly where possible. Fish Tail lodge in Pokhara was VERY tired but great location and cute pontoon across the river to reach it. You could try the newish Fulbari Resort. We stayed Temple Tiger in Chitwan. Great elephant safari riding but saw no tigers. Lots of rhino - up REAL close. Accommodation novel, but again, tired.

Hi,
Better one is inside the Park than outside.
There are different kind of categories inside and outside. You have to choose in your requirements.
You can book it through travel agencies and trekking agencies. They are offering you in special offer.
have a nice wekend.
Cheers
Peter

Sandra, I just returned from Chitwan, please see my trip report below-I saw LOTS of animals, pretty much everything except a tiger, which I didn't want to see.
