I was told by the Beaches property that their Luxury rooms have French Balconies as apposed to a full walk out/sit down balcony.<BR><BR>What is a French Balcony?<BR><BR>Thanks.

It has to be for decoration only because I don't think they are wide enough to even stand on. It looks more like a really narrow balcony from the outside.

A room with a french balcony has sliding glass doors that open but there is a railing right across the opening. You get the benefit of wide open doors but not a place to walk out or sit.
