Has the Breezes resort improved yet?

I have been hearing horrible reviews about the Breezes resort in Curacao on several different websites. I realize that this resort just opened and probably will have some problems but I thought that they may start to get things working right by the time we get there in mid March. I could care less if the gym is ready or not but some of my big concerns are:

1. quality of rooms - do they smell musty??
2. selection of food and service
3. selection of drinks and service
4. Is the pool clean? I previously heard concerns about babies and children making messes in the pool.

Any positive or negative comments would be greatly appreciated along with the dates of your visit. Thanks.

I believe there is a report on www.wheretostay.com from someone who just got back.

Apparently, the newer rooms that are yet to open look good but the older ones appeared to be so-so and a bit musty in decor.

Food at some restaurants was very good but there was noe that was not favorable - do not recall which one.

Still some perks to work out.

www.caribline.com is down... this is a site that has tons of info on Breezes Curacao.. not sure when it is going to be back up... I am assuming it is down because tons of people are probably trying to access it right now as a much anticipated trip report is coming from someone just returned home

www.caribline.com is not down. There is apparently a problem with Netscape. You can access the site fine from MS Explorer.
