Disneyland Military Discount Tickets -- Must You Show Your Military ID at the Gate?

We're going to Disneyland in a few days, and my parents purchased military discount tickets for everyone in the family using their military IDs. No one else in the family is military. Now we've heard a rumor that each person in the group has to present a military ID at the gate to get in.

Does anyone know if this is true?

Thanks.

Why don't you call Disneyland directly and ask their policy on this matter. Atleast that way you know that you have the most up-to-date, accurate information.

We are military people who have been there with non-military, but purchased our tickets from the base ticket office. (This past March.) No one had to show IDs at the gate, so you should be fine.

Are you talking about the Magic Kingdom Club Card? It's been a few years since I did this so don't know if the policy or tickets have changed, but...the "military tickets" are not really military tickets. They are more like corporate tickets. They can be purchased by people who work for like General Motors and other large corporations. The company sets up a special deal with Disney Corp and you, as an employee, can purchase the tickets for a discount. So, no, they won't ask for a military ID, because most people with the tickets won't have the ID. Go, have fun.

Thanks, all. We tried calling Disney directly, but the line is always busy. I'll post back if anything has changed from what you folks reported.
