I agree the staff were good, but some days the food was not all that. The manager will move fast on any problems you have.

Can you tell me more about your hotel? We are going next month and since I have not been to Varadero I would like to know more about other hotels as well. Thank you.

Lar, we have not booked yet at Varadero. I am open for suggestions. I have only stayed in Havana at the Melia Cohiba and it is wonderful. If the Republicans get in office I won't be staying anywhere there!

Susan, the Las Morlas is very good value for the money, all inclusive with 3 meals and all drinks. Its on a good section of beach and a 10 minute walk into town by road or beach. Next door to the east is Villa Cuba which is lots more money but fancier. Are you looking for fancy, with sports or what, do you want to be close to town but not in town? Please stay away from Atabey hotel, it is a mess with construction and it never was a good hotel. There are lots of hotels far away from town if that is what you are looking for, let me know. There are Melia hotel in Varadero also, but they are expensive and its unnecessary to pay that money just for the plants in the lobby. Give me some idea what you are looking for.
