Giving Kaikoura's wildlife a helping hand

In addition to Kaikoura's road and structural repairs, dredging of its harbour and rebuilding of its marina, a huge effort has gone into resettling its famed coastal wildlife.

Great to hear. I don't think the average person (myself included)quite realises the devastation that occurred. It will take years to get back on track like Christchurch but I hope they have a great summer with lots of tourists building up the economy.

I agree. I hope they have successful summer, too. The people of Kaikoura and surrrounds have been through so much.
