Speaking English in Vietnam

I have just been to Vietnam once; However, thanks to asking many types of people in Vietnam, I find out some useful information:

1. If you just ask for road or a specific destination near there, you could ask anyone because although they may not speak Engligh but they can still give you some directions by body language.
To make sure that you don’t waste your time due to asking many people just because there are some Vietnamese who may not know your requested place or road, ask taxi drivers or some guys sitting on motobikes called “xe om” .

2. If you ask for more detailed things, you will need someone who can communicate English right? My experiences is finding one of these 3 types of people in Vietnam:
- Working officer
- Teenagers with school uniforms ( you should estimate their age above 15)
- Employees in any store, especially in district 1 or 7 of Ho Chi Minh city.

These are 2 things that I remember right now. I will add more when I remember
Anyone gets some more tips please share with me

Most Vietnamese citizens are friendly and hospitable, just feel free to ask them if travelers have any concerns
