CDG to Westin Vendome by train/bus?

Other than a cab or car service, what is the best way to get to Paris Westin Vendome? Last year we took Air France bus to Le Meridien but I've heard there is a better way to get to the Westin. We will land in Paris at around 9:15 am on a Sunday.

You can come into the city by rail (RER B + metro for 10€) or the Roissybus (CDG to Opéra for 11€). Easybus is starting service from CDG to Place André Malraux on 15 May. They will be operating minibuses every 30 minutes for 2€, but it is hard to believe that it is not just a gimmick.

Easybus would be great if you don't mind walking about 3 blocks. If you want to be closer, Roissybus is probably best as Opera is on a direct line to Palais Royal metro stop (very near that hotel). On the other hand, the Opera metro entrance isn't right next to the place that bus stops, but it's not too far.

I've never taken Roissybus so don't know how it compares in comfort to the Air France buses. If the same, Roissybus is cheaper. Of course, if you were going to take the AF bus, you'd take the one to Gare de Lyon (line 4), not Porte Maillot (line 2), it's a lot closer and on the same direct metro line. But those AF buses are around 17 euro.

Roissybus is similar to a regular city bus, nothing at all like the Air France coaches.

Thanks all. I think I'm going to go with the train. Looks easy enough and only one metro stop from Chatelet!
