Rail construction between Granada and Seville/Madrid

I am trying to book rail travel between Granada and Seville for May and haven't been able to. It is my understanding that track work is being done on this line and also to Madrid starting April 7th. Right now Renfe is not taking reservations for April 7 and beyond.
Does anyone know how this is going to work as I believe the construction is scheduled into August. I contacted Petrabax and they had no information.
Thanks for any information.

Too bad you didn't tag this Spain. Don't know anything about this, but it is logical that an AVE train would be wanted, planned for, between Granada and Seville and esp. between Granada and Madrid. Good luck. You could always take the bus or rent a car.

Hmm, guess it's great to hear they're expanding the AVE to Granada but it'll bring big crowds to what is relatively a small city.

That's good news, it will make getting around a bit easier. Granada has a prime tourist attraction, they can't avoid tourists and it isn't much smaller than Cordoba, about a quarter million people. Besides, it will help people who live there, lots of smaller cities or towns than that are on high speed rail lines in various countries.

Petrabax is now showing tickets on the 6th, but nothing is available after the 6th. Just purchased some tickets for the 3rd.

It seems that they will be working on the high-speed rail around Cordoba beginning the 7th.
