Place to Grab a Bite to Eat near Wilmington train station?

Hi,

I'll be taking the Beach Bus from Rehoboth to Wilmington and then catching a train to NYP. I'll have about an hour fifteen minutes if everything is on-time. I was at the Wilmington train station many years ago, but I don't remember if there's even a kiosk to buy a sandwich or soup at the station (not that whatever was there would still be there). Is there anywhere to grab something to eat at the station or nearby? (I could prepare a sandwich before I go, if need be.)

Thanks, Daniel

Harrys seafood bar is down by the water and there are a couple of places on market st that are close to the train station. There is a snack bar/paper store in the train station. I took that beach bus one time! My ride to the train fell through and I caught the dart bus. Grab a couple slices of Grotto's pizza before you leave Rehoboth. One time there was a music fest at the park by the station and they had all sorts of vendors. I was early so enjoyed a little of both.

Flpab-- I'm actually staying in Bethany Beach at my parents' summer rental there for only 2 nights, but I'll mention Grotto's to my Dad, a New Yorker (Astoria Queens) who searches tirelessly for New York-quality pizza wherever he travels and lives, as they'll be in Bethany the whole week. It took him years to find a pizza in the DC area up to his standards, after living there for many years . Anyway, thank you...it's good to know there are a few options in case I'm uninspired to make myself a sandwich when I get up that morning.

Best wishes, Daniel

Flpab-- I wanted to thank you again. Yesterday, the Beach Bus from Rehoboth was a bit late due to traffic, leaving me maybe only 50 minutes to eat in Wilmington before I had to catch my New York-bound train. I decided to chance it and walked along the Christiana River to Harry's Seafood Bar. It was a good decision; explaining to the hostess and waitress that I had only about half an hour to eat, they were efficient and understanding--telling me exactly what items on the menu were quick to prepare--I ended up going with their Maryland Crab Soup and sparkling water before heading back to the station ($12). A much better choice than the limited options at the convenience store/cafe in the station.

Best wishes, Daniel
I will consequently echo your recommendation that Harry's is a great choice for those who want to grab a more interesting and healthier bite to eat before catching a train from Wilmington.

That's odd. "Best wishes, Daniel" was supposed to come after that last sentence.
