Ferry to Milos from Mykonos, Paros or Naxos
Traveling to the islands in late august and planning on hitting up 3 or 3 islands over a two week period.
tentative itinerary needed based on the ferries.
at this point we need to fly into an island from Athens and then ferry to the next spots with the final destination being Santorini.
We 100% want to do Milos and Santorini.
Where else? Where should we fly into first?
Open to all suggestions.
Group size is 6 people from ages 30-60. interests include beaches, water sports, wine, eating, hiking, relaxing, picture taking, and some nightlife (I realize this may be slower on some islands so it would be nice to hit up one that had that.)

While flying to Milos would be my first choice you have a fairly large group and the aircraft is a 30 seat Dash 8. If there are enough seats available book them now because the flight will sell out quickly.
We did take a fast cat ferry from Milos to Naxos last may so you should be able to make that connection. You are in high season so you may want to book ferry tickets in advance as the ferry is not large and could sell out.
From Naxos you have the Bluestar ferry into Santorini. There is nothing like seeing Santorini from the open deck of a large conventional ferry.
If you can't get that flight then there are far more options to fly to Santorini. You might want to do that anyway. You can easily do the circle route to Milos and Naxos and back to Santorini for a return flight as well.

Island of Paros must be your stop. A great area to stay is ambelasparos near the famous village of Naoussa. Check their official website. Also for connections on greek ferries try openseas. I hope i helped you
