French Riviera accommodations
Would love to hear your thoughts about the following places:
Chateau Eza- Eze
Chèvre d'Or- Eze
Tiara Yaktsa- Theoule-sur-Mer
Bailli de Suffren-Rayol-Canadel-sur-Mer
Hostellerie La Farandole- Sanary-sur-Mer
Mas Candille- Mougins
Villa La Mauresque
I realize that they are all over the map (literally) but they all appeal to me for one reason or another. We definitely want to spend a good amount of time relaxing as this will be the last leg of our trip. We will most likely have a car to explore other areas, but I'd like the ability to walk to shops, restaurants, etc. We plan to stay for about 4-5 nights and will most likely be coming from the Saint Remy area.
Thanks in advance.

Both places in Eze are absolutely beautiful. We haven't stayed there but have had lunch. You mus realize though that Eze is at the top of a mountain with no cars. You park below and walk up. Plenty of shops & restaurants and stunning views of the coast.

Eze is a magical and spectacular place but not sure I'd like the quiet and solitude of staying up there for more than a night. Definitely a "must do" location, but it's really near nothing. What month? Depends on whether you like to be in the middle of the action or far and away removed. Don't know the others by names, knowing the village location would be helpful. Not to worry, experts on this site will know them.

We will be there in the first week of August. We would like to get a sense of the action but more as a spectator than a participant. Would like to be able to relax for the last few days of our trip- read some books, eat some great meals, etc.

I suggest one of the hotels on the Croisette in Cannes.
Or perhaps a rental apartment there.
Carlton,Gray D'Albion, Martinez, Majestic Barriere or orthers.
Staying up in the hills adds 20 to 30 minutes to most trips.

I've narrowed it down based on the advice I've gotten and more research. Here are the list of places I am now considering:
www.lesrosees.com/
www.lemascandille.com/
http://www.lemasdemougins.com/
www.lecapdantibes.com
www.hotel-sainte-valerie.fr/
www.hotelbeausite.net/
www.hotel-patricia.riviera.fr/
www.fianceedupirate.com/uk/index.php
www.royal-riviera.com/
www.reservebeaulieu.com/
I realize that they are varied both by location and feel, but I now feel as if I have a better idea of where to locate ourselves for both relaxation and sightseeing.
