Frankfurt connection time

Getting to Croatia is a little more complicated than I first imagined. We are looking at flying Lufthansa to Frankfurt, then connecting to Zagreb. Meeting up with our tour in Rovinj the next day. The question is will a 2 hour connection in Franfurt be enough time? Not familiar with the airport.

2 hrs is more than enough time for that connection (assuming, of course, that your inbound flight arrives within an hour of its scheduled time).

Actually you have chosen just about right enough time to get through things without a lot of waiting around. As stated above the key is more or less on time arrival of your plane.

Should be fine as long as:

1. You don't have to switch terminals.

2. You're not the last one off the plane.

Should be fine even if:

1. You have to switch terminals.

2. You are the last one off the plane.

There are many complaints about 45 minute flight transfers happening in Frankfurt. It really pushes some on flights if there are any weather problems, etc.

But with 2 hrs., you're good.

I fly the same airline to my destination when transferring in a foreign airport. At least they're going to get you there. If you transfer to a budget European airline, you've just lost your non-returnable airfare.
