Cruz Bay area villa help
Thanks to everyone who commented on my prior post trying to decide between Cruz or Coral Bays. We've decided to stay closer to Cruz. Now I need some help with the overwhelming task of finding a villa. There are just two of us going. Would definitely want a pool, a view, outdoor shower would be nice. Would like to be fairly close, 5-10-15 minute drive into Cruz Bay. Thinking probably Chocolate Hole or Great Cruz Bay area, but want to hear from those with better knowledge. Any villas that would fit this description. Budget would probably be $3,000 or less for a week. Dates are not set in stone, but would likely be the last week of May or first week of June, 2014. Thanks for your help on this.

Overlooking Chocolate Hole, this is obviously a bit bigger than you would want but fantastic and in your budget for May, June.
When we rented it there were 4 of us. The lower level is reached by outside staircase only so you could just not use that area.
The views from the decks and pool are absolutely outstanding.
The upstairs area is perfect for 2 people with views from the bedroom and living area. We actually didn't spend much time in the LR/DR area as we were out on the deck at the table & lounge chairs all the time. The pool is lit under the water at night which made it great when we came home after dinner.
Good luck, St. John is wonderful.

Overlooking Cruz Bay is Gallows Point Resort. Each building on the site contains 4 condos. Rather than go into detail here about it, I'd suggest googeling Gallows Point Resort and see photos and texts about..All the best..Bob

Our friends own a place at Cruz Bay www.condocruzbay.com
Hal & Pat. Email them directly. We have stayed there before,
perfect for two people. Tell them Corny & Sherri sent you to
their website. Email me if you need more details. You can walk into cruz bay (5 minutes), for dinner shopping, etc. Taxis everywhere to take you to the beaches AND will bring you
back to the villa after day at the beach (avoiding an uphill walk ) So renting a car becomes an option, not a necessity.

Try..Grande Bay Resort or Battery Hill.
I will be at Grande Bay 11/22/13 - 11/29/13.
I stayed at Battery Hill two years ago. The walk up the hill
for a 60+ out of shape ( Round is a shape )was a bit much.
Very clean!!
