Giving up car in Umbria to go to Amalfi Coast

Help please, my friends! We want to tour Tuscany/Umbria but are thinking of "training" the rest of our trip to Ravello; Positano; Rome. Suggested car rental drop off point and train info. Thanks

The Hertz office is around the corner from the Orvieto train station. The train Orvirto to Rome takes an hour.

Another option is to drive to Salerno, drop the car there, then take the ferry to Positano, if you are traveling at a time when the ferries are running.

If you drop the car in Orvieto, you can train to Rome and then train from Rome to Salerno, then ferry to Positano.

Without knowing your Tuscany/Umbria itinerary, it's hard to suggest the best car rental return option. If your time in Umbria is after Tuscany, there's a rental return at the Foligno train station.

Drive to Sorrento and drop there.
