You will find every Chain restaurant in the world in the Canadian tourist zone in the Falls and unfortunately at the highest prices and lowest quality...
The Keg at the top of Embassy Suites is a Canadian Steak chain that combines a Falls view with a decent meal... there are a couple of decent eateries in the Fallsview Casino. We enjoy the Falls and Firkin, Shoeless Joes, and The Famous...
If you use the WEGO peoplemovers or drive, you can stop at the Niagara Parks Golf Course Restaurant... The dining room overlooks the 18th green and has good sandwiches and snacks...
Niagara on the Lake is a twenty minute drive from the Falls and offers several casual choices... we like their Golf Course restaurant on the Lake and there is the Harp Irish Pub and Olde Angel Inn British Pub...
In addition, several of the Wineries offer restaurants, many overlooking the vineyards. The Ravine winery, Trius at Hillebrand, Strewn winery, although they are pricier...
In summary, the closer you are to the Falls, the less likely you are to get a great meal at a decent price... the choices above offer some of the best alternatives... have Fun

I too would recommend Niagara on the Lake. For very casual the Angel Inn is great but make sure you sit in one of the front two rooms. Very authentic and fun. Irish Harp is also good. If you are looking to spend a bit more I would suggest Zee’s-they have very good food and a nice porch and patio area.
The Niagara on the Lake Golf course suggested above is perfect if the weather is nice for sitting outside with a great view of the lake and Fort Niagara.
