Best Family All Inclusive

I'm considering taking my kids and parents to an all inclusive during thanksgiving week. What are the best all inclusive resorts for families? I'm open to any island, but hoping for one with cheap airfare from NY.

thanks!

Look at Beaches Resort on Providenciales in the Turks & Caicos. Airfare from NYC to Provo should be 'reasonable but you may find the resort a bit pricey - it's perfect for families though.

Vacationing on any major holiday like Thanksgiving, you're going to pay some of the highest prices out there. I agree Beaches is a good family AI resort, but it is major expensive.

Look at the Iberostars, Barcelos, Occidentials, Dreams and Wyndhams in Mexico, Jamaica and the Dominican Republic. All those destinations has numerous resorts with various ameneties and price points.

If you can go the first week of December instead, prices and crowds will be greatly reduced. We go somewhere at the time most every year just for those reasons.

Please tell us what is important to you in a resort.
For instance, if a beautiful beach is important, I wouldn't go to the Occidental mentioned in the above post since their beach is a man made lagoon.
Is the pool or beach more important to you....do you want to eat at buffets or have ala carte meals every night....is a good night life important, etc,?????
