Another emergency at sea?

NCL ship broke loose in high wind, and possibly "came in contact" with an RCI ship.

RCI posted on Facebook:

Royal Caribbean International Today, at approximately 2:10 p.m. local time, Explorer of the Seas was docked in Kings Wharf, Bermuda, when the Norwegian Star mooring lines broke loose from the pier. The Norwegian ship drifted into the Explorer of the Seas, causing what appears to be minor damage to the ship. There have been no injuries reported as a result of the incident. The local port authorities were immediately notified and Explorer of the Seas was cleared to sail by authorities. Explorer of the Seas will depart Bermuda for Cape Liberty, Bayonne, New Jersey, as scheduled.

We have a friend on that RCI sailing, but they were off the ship at the time of the incident.

I wonder how it was handled - any announcements made? Any schedule changes? Have they heard from others who were on the ship?

Maybe you can ask and post when they are back?

Here's what she posted the day it happened: We will be leaving late from Bermuda but we don't know how late. Two of the gangways suffered damage so only one plank on board and a thousand ppl in line to get on.
