Heathrow to Luton
I've managed to completely confuse my self trying to figure this out. I'm trying to find the most cost efficient way to get to luton from heathrow. I will be arriving thursday the 28th from Canada at heathrow at 9:35 am and I my flight leaves luton at 3:20 pm but I need to check in at least 45 min before hand.
Is a bus or the multiple trains the best way to do this? help please

"Multiple trains" is the worst way of doing this. Forgetting cost and speed: connecting at Paddington onto a tube for St Pancras with luggage is the nastiest experience it's possible to have on a public transport system apart from being pistol-whipped by a mugger (which just doesn't happen here)
It's slightly cheaper to get the tube fro LHR to St Psncras, then get a train to Luton Airport Parkway, where the ticket price includes a connecting bus to the terminal. Terminal to terminal, the train takes about twice as long as the hourly, 65-75 min, bus ride direct from Heathrow that costs twenty-odd pounds.
You haven't got all the time in the world (you'll probably get the 1110 bus, arriving about 1220). I'd just hop on the bus

You have two main options - an infrequent but direct National Express coach between the airports or taking the direct Tube from Heathrow to St Pancras, then train to Luton Airport Parkway then shuttle bus to the airport.
You have enough time to do either
