Dinner on the beach

My husband and I will be in Aruba in June and I would love to have dinner on the beach at sunset. I have read some reviews that the restaurant " Passions on the Beach" is a good choice. I was wondering if anyone has personally experienced that place and what your opinion is. And, if not Passions, any other suggestions. Thanks.

ArubaAmy has stayed at the Amsterdam Manor multiple times over many years. Passions is that's hotel's beach resturant. You might look up her name on Trip Advisor for more info.

Addtional beach resturants would be listed here:

The Flying Fishbone gets great reviews, but is about a 30 minute drive outside of the beach area of Palm/Eagle beach. You'll need a car to get to it.

Another option would be Pinchos. It is located downtown and sits on a pier over the water.

We've been to Passions many times and love eating there. It's a nice dining experience, watching the sunset at your table and then dining with your toes in the sand by tiki torch. There are many reviews posted at this site:

We'e been to The Flying Fishbone twice and love it, but it is an expensive/long taxi ride from the high rise/Palm Beach area. The restaurant looks like it's straight out of a set for SEX and THE CITY,
and the food and ambience was heavenly! Have fun!

I am not sorry that we did Passions, but probably would not go there again during future trips. Once the sun is down, the view is over. The food was good, but not a standout.

Flying Fishbone - have been there twice and I'm sure we will go the next time we go to Aruba. If you have a car this can be a no-brainer; if you don't then cab fare is likely pretty expensive.
