Provence small group tour suggestions
I am in the midst of organizing a small group 7-8 day trip for 10-12 gals in Provence and have found several that look good on-line. First choice would be to stay in one location with day trips to neighboring villages. Does anyone have any experience with either "French Vintage Vacations" or "The Luberon Experience"? I'm also open for other suggestions if you've had a great experience. Thanks!

Don't know about the first one you mentioned, but Kathy and Charley, who run the Luberon Experience are great folks. We joined their group a few times for meals and everyone was having a blast. They lived in the area for 9 months (that's when we got to know them so well) and really know their stuff. They are also doing tours of other parts of europe these days under the web site:

Thanks Kevin for the heads up on Kathy and Charley. She has responded to my e-mails quickly and w/great additional information.
And thanks Sarastro as well for the info, but am leaning towards an organized small tour as I'm not a travel agent and would like to have fun as well.

My experience with French Vintage Vacations was a good one. What I really wanted was being able to walk into the village of Gorde after the tour day and that's pretty much why I chose it in the first place. Excellent hosts and we sure had all the wine we could drink. I also wanted a whole week and some kitchen facilities which worked out great.
