Question about Africam.com
This is a stupid question, but I've read some of you mentioning www.africam.com
When I go to this site, what do I click on to get the live stream?

You shouldn't have to click on anything kodi. Sometimes the black little screen on the left will show you a commericial and then the feed will start, sometimes feed starts initially. It does take a few seconds to load. I assume you have high speed connection to internet; not sure if it will work with dial up.

Debi, thank you, I got it. I knew I'd seen it the other day, but earlier tonight, it did not come up.
But it's there now.
I was trying to catch the early morning activity, but I guess I've missed it now.
Debi, after working so hard cooking such a fabulous dinner , you should be in bed by now!!!

Well, I give up. Over the past few weeks, I've tried everything, including reading the 7 million posts on NG's enthusiastic thread, checking the instructions on the africam.com site, etc.
I've finally decided that either I'm completely deluded, or this is the biggest hoax of all time. Or that I'm even more technologically incompetent than I thought.
Oh, yeah: I'm on a PC with high speed connection. I cleared my cache and rebooted, bleahbleahbleah.

LucieV, don't give up. When I go into www.africam.com I still only get a still picture of a bird. I don't have a clue where to click to get the live webcam.
However when I click onto the site Debi mentioned above, I do get the video. Although this morning it isn't of the watering hole and the picture is being zoomed in and out. SO unless someone is actually at the webcam, I'm wondering if it's a clip and not the live feed.
But at least I'm seeing some animals.

kodi-
The camera also pans around the area near the water hole. They were just showing a group of impala feeding and panning in and out with them, so we're all seeing the same ting. Now they've got the cam on a turtle who just came out of the waterhole.

Ok thanks, I'm seeing the turtle. But the poor little thing looks like it's struggling, and dragging it's head along. Darn, I missed the impala.
At least I know I'm in the right place now.

Lucie, the old tale of the Emperor's New Clothes comes to mind often as I try to access the cam.
I haven't "cleared and rebooted" yet as advised by those in the know, but at the moment I'm watching three elephants cavorting around. Don't know if it's in real time or not, but the time in Africa is just after 4 pm, and the shadows appear to be consistent with that.
