I recommend the helicopter trip....
Although, i didnt do it....we had a charter that was taking us from Vic falls to Kasane and then on to Kwando....but requested the pilot to fly over the falls and he had no hesitation.......he flew around in circles and the views were far more spectacular than from the ground...

I second santharamhari - we asked our charter pilot to take a pass over the Falls, he was more than willing to comply, and we felt we didn't need a heli tour. Try it if you're flying into Vic Falls!
