Plane from Johore.

After a couple of hours of looking at rubber plantation, I was bored on the train -was another few hours, but cannot remember exactly. Comfortable enough, but wcertainly ould not do it again. Returned via Johore (cheaper plain journey than via Sinagpore) and then short bus ride, did not have any problem. Train stops and you have to get out and go through controls. So I assume I got the necessary stamps.

Hi

I have taken the bus between Singapore and KL a couple of times. It takes about 5-6 hours and it is not the most exciting trip in the world. I have gotten lots of stamp in my passport on the border between Singapore and Malaysia so it shouldn't be a problem.

If you want more info from my trips to Singapore and KL please have a look at my homepage www.gardkarlsen.com. I have posted travelogues and pictures there

Regards
Gard

i agree that the plane is the only way to go...malay air is great from jahore..you have to get there however...our bell captain told us about a bus from another hotel in sing which takes you directly to the jahore airport with a stop in the middle of the bridge for customs...it was the novotel hotel where we got the bus from in singapore...in 1996 i saved $100 on the air tickets by going across the bridge..bus was $4.
the airport is an ope air place with a bit of confusion but fun
