If you are asking about weather, either one will be warm enough to enjoy the water. If you are talking about this Christmas you may be too late to book anything.

As above, if you are talking Christmas this year I would just get online and see what you can find.

I prefer Jamaica over Dominican Republic myself speaking in most general terms. But both offer all-inclusive resorts if that is what you are after?

I'd get on a general website like cheap carribean dot com and see what is left available for your time frame.
