Road trip UK to Crete Feb 2018
Hi, i am travelling from the UK to Crete for a 5 month holiday by road with my dog. I was going to travel via Germany,Croatia, Serbia, Macedonia, Greece and then Crete. I am being advised that Serbia/Macedonia are not the safest of places. Therefore advice on ferrry crossings, where, what line - happy to buy cabin - any help or comments useful please?

Where did you hear that Serbia and Macedonia were unsafe???
Have you checked the requirements for taking your dog?
For some info on ferries see: https://www.directferries.com but you will want specific sites for Greece and the schedules are unlikely to be available yet.

I know few ppl that went from uk to germany/poland/Ukraine/France adn Italy...it is quite a road trip but apparently it's worth it. Serbia and Macedonia are not as bad as it used to be but if u don't feel safe...up to you
