What kind of adaptors will US travelers need for Belgium? We're already packing for our trip next week!

The back has slits for the two blades that 2-prong US plus have. Shops like Target and Ace have them.

Most electronic items these days are dual voltage (something like 100-240 V), but be sure to verify.

If you have a three-prong device that needs to go on the trip, that may complicate matters, because you may need not only a three-prong adapter (to make the prongs fit) but also a voltage converter - make sure something that requires a three-prong plug is labeled for dual-voltage use (something close to 100-240 V). If it isn't, then it's probably not worth taking along because a converter may be more than you want to deal with.

In Belgium, as in France, you may encounter electrical sockets that want the F-type plug. It has the same two round prongs, but also has a hole to fit a prong that projects from the wall socket and provides a ground. The older C-type plug may fit that socket (or may be too snug); The older C-type wall socket probably will not take the F-type plug.
