Best places to visit for 4 days trip with kids to Rome, Pisa and Venice

Hi,
We are planning to make a 4 days trip starting from Rome to Venice and it would be nice to visit Pisa. We(husband and me) shall be traveling with two kids(3yrs and 1 yr ). Please advise.
Thanks in advance.

Do you mean four days in Venice, or four days for the whole thing? Because if it's the latter, the only possible advice is to stay put in Rome.

Or, perhaps, four days to spend between Rome and Venice? Hope so.

You need to clarify. If you have 4 days total you really have to stay in Rome. If you have 4 more days after you visit Rome you could head to Venice - but I wold bag Pisa with 2 little ones since they are not allowed to ascend the leaning tower - so only one of you could go up. And it makes no sense to head to Pisa just to look at it from afar.

Also you don;t say how you are traveling. Are you flying in and out of Rome? Into Rome and out of Venice? Other? Is this part of a larger trip? And what time of year are you talking about?

Remember that your kids need time to be kids - to run around and play eery day - that you need to build into your itinerary.

Agree with all the above. If you have only 4 days total, it would be madness to try to visit Rome, Pisa, and Venice...with two little ones, insanity.

Hi, we have total of 4 whole days trip. We have planned to fly Rome and then fly back from Venice. We dropped the idea of Pisa. It seems difficult with the kids.

Does the 4 days include the day you fly into to Rome and out of Venice? If so this is REALLY difficult. You will actually only have 2 days free to see and do things (2.5 days max depending on the time of your flight out of Venice) .

Have you bought your tickets yet? If not, and with 4 days total -- do JUST Rome or JUST Venice and fly round trip in to one or the other. You don't have time for both.
