Sandals Resort Lovers Tell All

We are looking at staying at a Sandals resort for our honeymoon. Which resort is the best? We like a resort with a luxury, contemporary feel. While most of the time will be spent relaxing, we will also enjoy a day or two shopping and checking out the town. Since we have not been to any of the Sandals resorts, they would all be new to us. We like the idea of adults only and the all-inclusive perk is a plus. Above all, we want a nice spacious room with plenty of upgrades and a good view. Something we will remember forever!

My advice is to do your homework, and not get fooled by the pretty pictures that certain resorts seem to show. Sometimes I think people don't realize that they are paying for a "name" or a pretty brochere, instead of a great resort. Again, just do your homework, plenty of reviews out there.

There must be better sites than this one to get Sandals-specific information. My experience on this forum is that there aren't a lot of Sandals goers posting here.

Tom,
I'm thinking that (might) be because the folks here did their homework on Sandals? Just a guess.... ;-)

You may get better value for your money at other adults only all inclusive resorts for example take a look at Secrets Maroma. If you go with Sandals make sure you look at the reviews on tripadvisor to avoid surprises.
