I know some here have used Ethnic Travel in Hanoi for part of their trips in Vietnam. I had been in contact with them in the early stages of planning a Feb. 2017 visit. They were very responsive and had good suggestions.

Today their web site is kaput and emails are bouncing back. This is the message I get when trying to access their web site:
This account has been suspended.
Either the domain has been overused, or the reseller ran out of resources.

Does someone there in Vietnam know if Ethnic Travel is still in business or not?

You might want to think about calling them. That sort of message isn't the type where someone has turned off their website or let it expire. Sounds more like they have a limited allowed bandwidth web hosting account. In which case, we lot have been doing a little TOO much researching and got them shut off for the month.

i am a little concerned at this post as I've booked a 3 night trek with them for next month, and paid a 50% deposit only two days ago. I got a payment confirmation, but only from their payment services provider.
So, I sent Ethnic Travel an email, asking for confirmation of the payment, and had a reply in the affirmative within 5 minutes.
All seems okay, but, please susiesan, if you continue to have problems contacting them could you let me know ?

Susiean - did you put the '.vn' after the .com? In other words, the website address is www.ethnictravel.com.vn. I tried it without the .vn and came up with a suspended domain name, and I'm wondering if that is what happened with your attempt.

They came back online the next day. They also answered emails. it might have been a glitch in their internet service provider. All seems to be well again.
