2 Days in Vancouver

Friends,

We are planning for a 2 days trip next month to Vancouver. This is the first time travelling after our wedding. Can anyone suggest some good places to hang out. we are kind of adventure seeking and nature loving person. Is 2 days enough to cover vancouver? and on the go we are planning to visit Victoria for 1 day.

Basically from Seattle, going to commute with our car. If ferry is needed for some places, we are ready to ride along with our car.

If it's your car and you have the Canadian insurance that's OK.
If it is a rental please just take the Amtrak train or bus from Seattle.
There is a HOHO bus that goes through Stanley Park.
I haven't been back since they had the Olympics there.
I think you can go to Victoria as foot passengers without a car.

You will barely scratch the surface in 2 days, so you'll need to plan accordingly. You might go over to Grouse Mountain, for starters - it's quite close by either car or public transportation. Right now would be plenty of snow activities, plus zipline and lots of other things to do: https://grousemountain.com/

FWIW - we always take a rental car across the border and onto the ferry, it has never been a problem and the car rental agency always provides Canadian insurance.

Thanks Guys. But we now changed our plans since we wont be able to cover Vancouver in 2 days.

No we came up with Vancouver Island for 4 days. I am planning to see these places Victoria, Sooke- Carmanah walbran park , Juan de fuca, Cowichan valley. let me know if you people come up with any other places that could be added to the above list. We are planning to take our own car in ferry. But am not sure with this Canadian Insurance. Is it necessary?

Tell your US auto insurance agent you want to take your car into Canada and they will print out a binder (usually free) to cover you in Canada. They don't ask for it when you cross the border but you need it if you have an accident or you are pulled over by police.
