Hiking Trails in Austria/Liech/Germany

We are planning a trip in May and plan to primarily hike while there. The first week we have accommodations in Brand. After much research I haven't been able to find much info on hiking trails around Brand. One web site provided info on guided tours but didn't give the trail names, etc. so I can't steal their ideas Info was available for Lichtenstein and there are some nice hikes but we were hoping to find more around our apartment. There are no national parks in the immediate area so that option is out. We will generally hike up to 10 miles/day with a max elevation gain of 2500-3000 ft so I am hoping someone may have some ideas. For anyone familiar with the area , we were there in 2011 and stayed in Bad Gastein and hiked that area and the Hohe Natl Park and loved it. Any ideas or resources are appreciated. I am sure there is info available once we arrive but would like to get an idea of the availability ahead of time. Thank you !

There are stunning hiking trails from Brand to Lake Luenersee and then either to the West:
to Mount Scesaplana Hut - Pfaelzer Hut - Malbun (Liechtenstein Post Bus stop) .....
or towards East:
Garschina Hut - Tilisuna Hut - Schafberg - Gargellen .....

But forget that immediately: most of theses trails will still be under deep snow in early May.

Thank you - I will look into those. Most of the trails to the east will be under snow ? We were there in late May previously and perhaps it was a warm winter... we didn't see any snow. Darn the luck ! Hopefully we will find enough to keep us busy. Thanks so much for your help.

You can of course do other hikes, but just not the most attracive one's.
Many years ago, I had no problem to go by gondola to Luenersee and to hike over Scesaplana to the (closed) Mannheim Hut (partly through the snow), in early June, but when I wanted to go down from there, I saw that the trail along the rocks had disappeared under slippery ice.

Interesting discovery.. apparently after some research I have discovered there are two Brands ? One is in Eastern Austria and the other near Brandnertal, Austria. I just looked at Google map again and it shows Brand near Brandertal and another in Eastern Austria. Confusing to me but... our reservations are at Brandertal, near Bürserberg. My apology !

I know only Brand im Brandnertal, above Bludenz, in the Bundesland Vorarlberg.
