Not-too-expensive Bed & Breakfasts in Ranelagh (or central-ish) Dublin?
I'm headed to Dublin in April and am looking for suggestions for a cheap, cheerful Bed & Breakfast -- ideally in Ranelagh or someplace else in central-ish Dublin (walking distance to, say, Trinity College).
Any recommendations?

http://www.portobellobandb.com/ There is a travelodge by St Stepehn's green and there are some nice hostels in Dublin. Check out hostel world, they rate them, you can even get private rooms in many.

How about Trinity College? During the summer when the students have gone home, they rent out their rooms.
There are a few nice B&Bs / guesthouses on Adelaide Road (which is near Stephens Green, but a bit traffic-y) and around Lansdowne Road (rugby stadium, slightly out of the centre but walking distance to Georgian Dublin and right on the DART (suburban train) line). The area around Lansdowne Road is great, with good public transport access and a great selection of pubs and restaurants around Bath Avenue (The Old Spot is my current favourite place to eat).
