Manchester Terminal 2 hotels

I have a flight leaving at 07.05 from Terminal 2 of Manchester Airport and will need to book accommodation for the night before.

Is there a hotel at Terminal 2 so I can just walk to check in the next morning?

If not can you suggest places to try please. I'm looking for somewhere cheap, clean and close to the airport.

Not sure about your budget but the SAS Radisson is 500 meters away from terminal 2 via a covered walkway. The breakfast are great and the decor is understated Modern Swedish.

I wouldn't look any further.

Thank you. I'd been doing a google search and it didn't throw up this one. It is slightly more than I was hoping to pay but the convenience of being able to walk to the terminal more than makes up for that.

I'll also book it for the return flight which doesn't get in until 22.25. I hadn't been looking forward to getting a taxi or bus by myself at that time of night.

Thank you, unfortunately it doesn't include the Radisson.

The Radisson group re-invented itself about 10 years ago.

The hotels were aging and over-priced.

Since their revamp we don't look any further when travelling in Europe. Their decor is usually understated stylish and the breakfast are brilliant buffets.

After staying in around 12 different hotels, we just trust them now.

Thank you for those links, Rubicund. Laterooms is the same price as booking through the Radisson website, lastminute is more expensive...

I'll be travelling by train. How do I get to the Radisson Blu from Manchester Airport Station? Can I walk?

Yes, through covered walkway. Takes about 5 min.
