Bus from Firenze to Siena

I am in Florence and having trouble finding out where to exactly buy tickets and exactly where to take bus. Wanting to leave tomorrow morning. Went to the train station this afternoon but none the wiser.

Thanks so much in anticipation of your help.

Ps having a great time.

The bus station is next to the train station and you can buy tickets at the bus station. As you exit the train station facing towards the historic center, you would go to your right and just around the corner. It's tucked in behind the buildings and there is a pull in area for the buses (station area is totally enclosed by buildings.

FYI - If you can, locate the Hotel Ambasciatori. If you stand facing it you would follow the sidewalk in front of it to the left and around the corner.

Bus experts - there is no need to reserve ahead of time or is that possible - my impression is that you just need to show up - what the deal?

thanks in advance.

Just show up, I think it leaves every half an hour. I really enjoyed the bus ride to Siena.

Just returned from Siena. Big fabulous day. No problem at all getting there and back. Thanks for your help. I am learning to be 'assertive' in queues. Haha.
