Is Ireland over-run by euro tourists this summer?
I know that the euro has resulted in huge crowds of tourists in Italy and France. There were pictures of huge throngs at major landmarks.
Is anyone aware of any unusual rise in Irish tourism?

Which major landmarks? If they are the 'biggies' like the Louvre, Notre Dame, the Vatican, etc . . . there are almost always huge crowds.
The majority of visitors to France and Italy are from other Euro zone countries and the UK - only a small % of any crowds are due to the exchange rates.

Take it you mean Dublin for the Hen and Stag brigade Bilbo, not Ireland which is a whole different place existing outside the capital (as often true for any country)
Are lots of Brits and US/Canadian/Australian etc etc flooding into Ireland? Not at the moment and probably not when summer arrives, no more than extra single figure % anyway.

Talking to a lad from the UK a couple of weeks ago, he thought the prices on a Stag do in Templebar were still extortionate, even given £1 is worth €1.40 another lad is going Warsaw for his Stag later this year. Apparently that's the new go to place?

I was there last week and there were still many stag and hen parties but no problem getting into museums, restaurants and bars for normal tourist. We took a Sunday tour to Wicklow and the tiny bus was half filled so loved that. It was the weekend of the yes vote so party was near Dublin Castle and that was a street party. Our "quiet" apartment was in the midst of it all but it was history and loved it. Sunday and Monday everything was back to normal. Things might change in June.
